QSR Summer MB/Activity
Please study the schedule and program details before choosing.
It’s time to start signing up for merit badges and programs for summer camp. It is a little complicated because QSR has so many cool things to do. Click on this link QSR-Schedule.pdf to get the camp program schedule and details.
It is broken up into 12 blocks of about 2 hours each. You’ll see what is offered and when. If you want to do something that is marked with an XXX in the box you need only attend one of the sessions. If you want to do something marked with any other letter like “AAA” or “BBB”, you must attend all sessions marked with the same letter.
If you are a first year scout or working up to First Class, attending the Baden Powell sessions is a great idea. They do a really good job helping you get down the scout skills and the classes are a lot of fun.
For older scouts, there are also some programs that are not merit badges but a lot of fun, like muzzle loading shooting, mountain biking, jet skis, cope and water skiing. Don’t over look those.
Once you have figure out what you want to do, make your selections and email them to Matt a firstname.lastname@example.org
Some classes have a small extra fee. We are still confirming, but it looks like the “water sports” sessions have a fee of about $20. The others, mainly the handicrafts have a fee of five to ten dollars. We’ll get you more information as soon as we can, but don’t wait to make your choices. We can change later if we need to.
Please submit your selections by March 15th.
